Does anyone know the width of the rearend for a 1960 Dodge D100 pickup either flange to flange or wheel mounting face to wheel mounting face? Also, if I use a later 8.75 inch Mopar differential (1969-1974) with a 489 case and gear set and limited slip differential, what are the specs on the axles I will need to use with this setup? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I'm pretty sure the later rear end is around 59" backing plate to backing plate. 1960 is close but might be a little narrower.

I have a '59 Dodge in the garage. The p.o. replaced the rear end, but I believe it is correct. Hard to get a good measurement, but backing plate to backing plate looks 58-59"
