Just thought I would throw it out there. This is what Ill probably take, if all the planets are in alignment.

 

I'll be driving Big Olds

 

Taking this POS with two of my sons and meeting my pals and Denise!!!!

 

I will be in my trusty sedan. I am in the midst of a minor change that should be finished in a couple more days. I am liking it, we'll see what everybody else thinks......

 

How can you get better than you already have it? AWESOME ride!!!

Thanks Ebert, It's minor, but will be a nice change for the summer. I will add a picture to the thread hopefully this weekend when everything is finished. ( I hope!)

 

29 Sedanman, were you at the Pileup when it was at the body shop? I think I met you then as I was admiring your ride! You went out of your way to be cool to me and my son! I had a chopped 40 sued coupe there with moon discs.

 

That wasn't me. It may have been Randy Dugger from Indy. He has a sedan that is similar, but a more traditionally built car, with a flatty, but similar color. Awsome car. He would of went out of his way to be nice to someone admiring his car as would I. Looking forward to seeing your chevy, one of my favorite cars. If you see my car, be sure to find me and say hi, I will do the same.

 

You got it. Will be meeting some of my Indy buddies there....Mikey O'Gara, Mike Fink and Wayne Selman if you know those guys...just looking forward to hanging out, leaving the cell phone home and swiggin' a few and having my sons driving to the hotel!

 

I will be getting this one back from the pinstriper tomorrow, all lettered and ready to go. It might even sit in front of Firemans Pub now and then.

For me it will be my '52 Panel truck and thanks to my dear pops he'll be bringing my latest project, Rustzilla, 50 something Chevy p'up.

I just have to put one fender on my car, and put the backseat in and Im good. I could do that now if it wasn't looking like its gonna storm!

Gonna try to make it in my 55 plymouth.

 

Just a reminder to all of you coming in from out of town. The roads on the west side are jacked up beyond belief. 465 on the west side has construction on most exits. They are paving US136 where the registration hotel is. I went past the registration hotel this morning on the way to work and it is one lane in both directions and it looked like one side is paved. The unpaved side that I was driving on has been ground and has a few huge elevation changes from ground to unground surfaces. I dont want to see any one tear their stuff up. I doubt they get it finished before Thursday. Just take your time, watch the idiots and dodge the craters.

Also, for the first year, The Ronald Regan expressway off of I74 is open and takes you just west of IRP on US136. You will still have to go down to the construction are for registration, but it is another option available this year.

 

Since I sold the Ranchero this week, I am coming in the Oldsmobile. I love this show! I hang out at the Killer Designs pinstriping booth. Stop in and say Hi to killer-d and me and let Darin stripe your ride. Gives him gas money to make it home.

 

Sub-compact rental car, but I will have my camera ready to shoot all of your rides!
