Here is another T of mine, was a coupe but got turned into a 5 window pickup.
I am running a flathead Cadillac engine when I get some time to push it along a little.
It has been fun building it so far.

You're forgiven, but who knows whatever happened to this artist? I met him at SEMA probably 10 years ago... cool kat!

I got two cowls when i got the body. They are ford but not 26 or 27. They must be similar because they mounting holes were close and it fit against the body at the bottom. The top was about an inch off at the top on both sides so i cut and added a piece.

yea gonna leave her tall and low.

    Thanks
    matt

  9. The T concept illustration a couple posts back Jeff Allison's artwork. He's pretty prominent in the hot rod world. I believe he runs with the Inland Empire Emperors, who had a killer T in the GNSR show this year, also featured in The Rodder's Journal. He's a hugely talented dude and his art is everywhere you wanna be. You can find him on Facebook. He's the shizzle.

I'm building one...but it's the 23-25 T. My goal is to take what society has labeled as a lame duck POS and breathe a little life into the staple of 50s-60s hot rodding. More to follow. I wanna take a crap on Fad T's!

It won't be long before my 425 nailhead & Turbo 400 (A) are mounted within a Mercury Charlie custom fabbed frame, Z'd front and back with a spankin' new 9" and suicide front end. The goal is to have its stance just like Charlie's old purple flamed (B). The next step will be to mount my body (C). I can't wait to see it come together.

Progress has an engine and trans and a start on the headers. Should have dual carb intake next week. Has 3 speed transmission. 8 inch ford rear end. Made the cones from old drive shaft and pie are square. The top will stay tall. I like the look.

This one's pretty damn sweet. Anyone know who owns it and where it lives? I'd love to know more about it.

  20. A little over the top perhaps, but pretty sweet workmanship nonetheless. For those who'd like to read all about it, check out the Rod and Custom back article online.

Well, I screwed up this post. I'm looking at the grey prime chopped coupe and wondering if you have any more pics. I'd locve to see the front suspension and how much kick you put in the rear of the frame

Pretty small gas tank in it, that would make fitting much easier.
    Sweet ride all the same.

Neat car. I'd like the proportions - can you show us the front end/suspension and give some detail on what type of frame you are using?

  29. Mahi-Ma-T Blue.jpg Thought I'd already posted this. But here goes.

  30. Here is a t my father built in the 60's.It was an all original car at that time. In the late 60's early 70's he put in the v60 and 39 running gear. And in the late 70's early 80's he put the volvo disk brakes.
I learned how to drive in this car when it was all original.
My father has given his 3 t's to me now as he is now 84 and doesn't drive them anymore
He is although currently working on a 27 roadster pick up with the same set up, v60 and a 40 running gear.
the touring in the picture has alway's been a driver and when I find some time I will clean her up
