On another thread a fellow HAMB'er offered up this bitchin' little T as a recommendation for a sweet top profile. Who owns this car? I gotts-tah know!
This is the direction I'm going with my recently acquired '27 roadster and I'd love some info and more pictures. I don't want to copy it, but there are a few things that just SCREAM to me!
Im not sure who's that is but im about to start experimenting with tops and removable hard tops. Lots of ideas on here but i want to make one that will be functional but that you can take on the road with you.
Then you may be interested in this thread which is where I took the picture from... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=520927&highlight=bucket+top
Here is my top on my roadster pu that just got stolen in the beginning of october. I scratch built it but I used the pictures from the bebopttop I thought it worked great even stayed on at 130 mph.
Ed, I've been following your thread. So sorry to hear about the theft. Hope you catch 'em and hang 'em from the nearest tall tree! The top looks great, hope it comes home looking as good!
Sorry I can't remember or find the thread I pulled the pictures from. I have another view of it to offer up though Hope the owner pops up here or someone knows.
It is a St.Louis car, real nice workmanship throughout inside outside and underneath. I might see him tomorrow if he wants his info on the net I will pass it on then..
I'd like more info on the paint on this car this is the exact blue I'm looking for to use on my 27 RPU .
I originally liked the color too. I am considering using it or possibly just going with a darker shade like Model A Lombard Blue on my 26 RPU. This bright blue reminds me a lot of the blue you see on peanut M&M candies
Motorcade, I don't really need to know "who" owns it, I just wanted details of the car itself and maybe a LOT more pictures. It has such a GREAT style to it!
Thanks for the additional pics. Can you share any details on the top? I'll be starting my 26/27 roadster in a few months. From what I can tell, you chopped it down to meet the lower windshield, eliminating the upper. Where did you reduce the top, just the center bow?
