Jimmy B: I went to change this title, shortly after posting it, but can't figure out how to do it. Help anyone?

AZAV8: Your idea is worth a try - will do it. This is strictly a street car, but those names on the cowl, he could well be connected with someone on the Landracing site. Thanks!

Thunderplex: This is how we roll.

Sorry, but I don't know how to change it either, but, if you can't change the title, I'd start a whole new thread, The problem is that there are hundreds of threads a day on HAMB. I personally scan the titles and only open ones I think I'd be interested in. With such an ambiguous title such as your's, I'd zoom right past it without looking.

Only trying to offer constructive criticism.

Click on your first post of the thread and then click edit. then click advance edit, that will allow you to edit the TITLE

Just did it an hour ago on one of my threads, Joe

Nice T, hope you find the owner. Maybe he thinks it is a 26-27T and not a "Gow Job" and is unaware this thread is here. Bob

Tag Man: Thanks. The ambiguous title is now history. Between the new improved title and a similar one on the Landracing site, I can't lose! I'll be swimming in info on this car any minute now! Better start practicing my Pulitzer acceptance speech...

I don't know who it belongs to but the more I look at it the better I like it.

  15. Here in ND we can just call the sheriffs office and give them the plate # and reason to get in contact with the owner and in a matter of minutes they have the owners name for you. :)
Not sure that works in all states ..............GOOD LUCK :D

It's been awhile, I ck'd the other day & it DOESN'T WORK that way anymore :( It's private info only the authorities have access to.
Now, if you have a "good buddy" working in DOT ???

Any chance of running the plate number in California?

  17. I wouldn't know if Ca. will do that for you or not. Give em a call.

Thanks guys. I tried running the plate - they asked if I'd tried the HAMB. Not really. I tried running the plate online and got some shaky looking sites that charge money I don't have.

I'm surprised nobody on here knows this guy. I'll keep trying for a while. Plenty to do in the meantime...

  19. They won't; unless you have a cop buddy or a DMV pal. :D

  20. Call Bruce Crower and ask him 619.661.6477
Or send him an email picture [email protected]

  21. Owner's name is Robbie Ivy from San Diego

  22. I knew you would find out who it is. :)
Never, I say NEVER, underestimate the power of HAMB :D
And patience is a virtue, it always helps. :)
