I was going to guess James Garner after ruling out Barbara Stanwyck...

 

The picture has to no older than mid to late 60's because the bike next to his is a Yamaha Big Bear and they didn't come out until the mid 60's. I believe the bike he is riding is either a Maico or Montessa. That is if the cobwebs of my mind clear away enough. I was racing Bultacos at the time and enjoying (?) the wonderful world of S.U.D.s. that is sudden unexpected dismounts. We did lots of those which may explain why I can't be sure of his bike. Who knows, maybe it is Richard Nixon in his quiet period before he reinvented himself.
