The search function is your friend, lots of chops on shoeboxes on here. Why don't you join the shoebox social group, they will be sure to help you out.

PM Choprods on here. He has chopped dozens of shoebox Fords and he is the best. He's even done some for guys here on the HAMB. I believe he is in Missouri but you indicate your willing to send the car to get a quality job done. If you contact Kenny I'm sure he can provide examples of is work. He's one hell of a nice guy on top of his talent.

As others said, you should have no problem finding someone to chop your shoebox living in So. Cal.. I can't think of anywhere else in the world you would have more options, and im not exaggerating when I say that.

Also check out Norm Taylor @ Vintage Metal , he's a HAMB'er on here by the screenname chopped50ford
    http://vintage-metal.blogspot.com/

He's in Southern California. My shoebox is there right now , he completely redid the chop on my shoebox to fix a hack job done by the shop who had previously done it. Also did a ton of other custom metal work on it.

If you're in LA, go by the Lords of Customz shop in south central. They do 3 chops a month. They know what a chop is but they aren't free.
