Did anyone notice all of the 25/6 Chevy touring doors on E-bay right now? Are they the same as roadster? Someone could have a "lifetime "supply! thought of buying them myself.

  3. Roadster and Tourer doors are the same.

I saw them I had thought about buying them but shipping to Australia is too expensive. Plus I can and have fabricated doors.

Pretty sure I have one. I moved to the mountains and the dash is at my shop in El Paso so if you can wait a week until I get back down there I can send a pic to make sure. Ron

Pretty sure the owners told me it was a '27. I wouldn't know otherwise.

  13. Close, it is a '26, telltale sign is the short tulip panel and large decklid. '27 roadster were totally different around the deck.

Saw there was also a blue Chev track roadster at TROG.

    Thats interesting info Jimmy.
So what you are saying is that my panels (see pic) are for a 1925 with the deeper 'tulip' panel. My boot lid drops just about down to gas tank cross member. 20160615_123847.jpg

I like this one a lot, ain't mine but wish it was.
    The only ones that I like better is Spurgin 25 roadster, S/G roadster and @JimmyB s S/G inspired build ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1466404387.654769.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1466404421.190094.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1466404457.844872.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1466404515.965149.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1466404550.983544.jpg

I think he is a kiwi too

  19. '25 has a bead along the tulip panel and beaver panels. Around the boot opening there is a real fine bead.

My old 35 Master roadster. Sorry for the grainy pic, it must have been taken some time in the mid eighties..... not an early roadster but I hope it fits in here...

Owner/builders of the '29 Chevys name is Skeeta.

@kiwijeff is that a first, last or nickname?

Here's one that is on eBay till Sunday. They say it is a '28 but Jimmy B taught us better. :) It raced a TROG this year.

  25. @Kume, do you happen to have a pic of the bootlid? Does it line up with the Tulip panel?

  26. That is such a cool old track roadster, definitely a '26 body though. It would be awesome to see the track nose recreated.
