    Just added pics... I drive the Ranchero about 40 miles a day.... Thrush mufflers with a stick should be manditory.

    The truck is getting close. Tying up loose ends...should be on the road by the end of the month... Except when it snows.

    The truck gets driven the most.The 56 see's it share of the road.The rear is out now but it'll be back on the road this weekend

    i drove this everyday for 4.5 years. rain, snow or sun until i couldn't afford the premium gas anymore. oh yea, i also used it to tow my race car to the drags.

    Man... You guys are inspirational. I always wanted to build a late 40's truck with a new fuel injected engine and drive it everywhere. Guess I should get the 36 done first.

    My daily.
    In fact, my only "up to date" street licensed vehicle for a bit now.

    The rear seats are pulled and a functional 3/4" plywood bed installed. I use'er as my p/u & hauler. A rolling project, eventually I'll get to the body work and she'll be the sedan delivery ma Chrysler SHOULD've built me in '62.

    my daily drive is my 72 el camino chopped 4" average about 100 miles per day. Do have a tired motor now ready for a change out. Ed ke6bnl

  30. Well I don't drive the old cars every day, but as many as I can, and I drove today. Beats the hell out of a new car any day.
