Motion Pictures Who Built This Dragster Chassis?

I was looking on Fakebook and just saw a post asking who built this Dragster chassis it was in a French film called "Les Aventuriers" or "Last Adventure" in English, I think, from '67 but the O/P says there was no drag racing in France until about the 80's so it was probably built in America and assembled in France for the movie. I've seen diagrams of different dragster chassis in the past but didn't find anything when I did a search, it doesn't look like a Chassis Research car but more like a Kent Fuller car.

 

I had to cringe a bit at the thought of slicks on all that wet cement.

Me thinks them Frenchy's was thinkin' multi-purpose for that face gear. Resourcful lot they are....

 

A lesson to all of us...never store your fireworks, road flares and napalm under your cardboard engine covers!

There was some drag racing in England, is it a British design?

 

Based on what I've seen on Facebook it could have been the Dos Palmas machine Special.
