Well after selling the whitedevil 31 coupe a couple months ago it was time to get a new ride....I have been looking and looking and finally came across a 56 chevy that fit the bill. Ol school cragars and M/t's give it the look that I want...it runs strong I have some stuff to do to it so for now ill call it my junk....let my dad drive it on the way home and you should have seen his face..smiles from ear to ear! I drove it an hour and a half home with temps of 160 to 170 the whole way. Very excited to get a new ride to work on! Its got a weiand 144 on a aluminum headed 383, 9'' ford and a 4 speed. My son approves of it being that he cried after I had to take him out of the car for lunch......

Very Nice and congratulations on the new ride. Everyone in the pics has a big smile on their face which is what it's all about.
Bet that Weiand set up on a 383 at sea level with a 4 speed is an absolute blast!!

My compliments on the Post car. The hardtops look funny after having a 56 210 for so many years....

Pretty Ironic that you had this quote in your profile...
Make it three yards, mother******, and we'll have us an automobile race...

Well...I just got done polishing and waxing, getting insurance, dealing with title stuff and setting up an appointment to get the quarter and vent glass replaced on both sides (older fella prior to me had it etched with roses....YUCK!!!!!) So off to the glass shop tommorow (actually cheaper than buying all the glass and installing it myself) Oil change and blower gasket replace coming right up. Cant wait for the show this weekend.....gonna be SAAAAAWWWEEEETTT!! (OH and have to get a rear seltbelt installed for the little mans car seat by sat...so much stuff to do)

That thing is really cool!!! What are your plans?

I had to sell/trade my '26 last month for my family as we are expecting a baby boy this July. I think it'll be awesome to roll with the family.....too bad my new car is slow unlike your own. Hahaha

    Here's my new Merc...

Thanks for the nice words on the Merc. I had no intentions on making it to Billetproof this weekend. I just have so much to do and should be saving money but now I have two '39 Tranny's heading down there and if all else fails I might have to pick them up!!! Would not count on it though even though it would be great to go!

Nothing like a clean 56 and 3 pedals makes it really cool. Have fun cruising the 56.
