The Waffle House Special It was built in Indianapolis, by Bubba. He took it to the Hamb drags with only a clutch. when I was 75 feet from it, I could smell that clutch. I think that it is a real strong jimmy with two fours. I think that the motor was first built for a tractor pull or something like that. With that pg, it should be strong.

Check out the Tulsa Drags: http://www.crablogic.com/gassers04012011.htm Pictures from 4-2-11. Roy Merritts car #6, Tod Martins car, the gold and green one. Bob Heinman's car the one with the yellow valve cover. Two of these cars were the first HA/GR cars to race at the HAMB drags at Mokan. Roy's car and Bob's car the third car is the Ozark Mountain Special. That was 2005.

Well, '55 thru '64 were pretty-much the same. They changed the suspension in '58. I went to a lot of trouble to cut-off the coil spring brackets, so I know it is at least a '58.

Chop the top about 6" and pull the fenders off it, add some pie crust slicks and lakes style headers and it will be fine. :p

    OUCH!!.

Good luck finding a lump to repower that Freight Shake with.

I saw what was claimed to be a 12V72 Detroit on Fleabay a while back, but you likely couldn't afford to feed it. :D
