I will have to replace at least one of the bucket seats in Mr. Chevy's car hauling truck. The material I need is a white metal flake boat interior type vinyl. I am in the St. Louis area. Is there a place I can look at it online maybe? What I need is like the interior of this car.

  7. Yup, just google zodiac vinyl. It is available lots of places. I used a ton of it when building my '50's diner.

Would I have to turn in my man card if I admitted I have found this at my local JoAnns Fabrics store???

Joann fabric has a selection too. I used silver flake in my chevy door panels. Marine grade for the seats.

  13. It looks like silver in the 1st photo.
In the late 60's mid size GM cars had a metallic white. I think it was called parchement.
It was almost a pearl white color. Very sharp looking.

  14. Our local "Mac's Hardware" sells upholstery material like that, fairly cheap. They have a decent upholstery section. Not sure which states Mac's Hardware are all located?
