im getting ready to order some wheels for my 55 chevy truck (2nd series) its either going to be cragar s/s or torq thrust d's. im getting 15x10 reverse for the back but im having a hard time deciding on the front.......either 15x6 or 15x4.5 , im leaning towards the 4.5's but im not sure about what tires to run . my question is about the weight of my truck when it comes running the skinnys on front and driving it daily , anybody running them on a heavy car?
I would go for the wider tire, the truck is shaped like a brick in the front and to skinny of a tire will look like chicken legs under it. Plus the wider tire will handel the weight and cornering better too.
