hey guys, i bought this car because it was pretty much turn key and i didn't have the time to do another "project" car, though by the time i get done changing everything to how i want it, it would have been better to build one from scratch. anyways, the car is out of the paint shop, but still needs to be pinstriped. i am planning on changing the rims this spring. i HATE these things. i like the stance of the car. it is running 14" fronts, 15" rears. i am not into the bigger rims with rubberband tires. at first i was leaning towards smoothies, then even maybe artillery rims. now i am torn between the radir tri-ribb with a satin finish or the real rodders originals with the polished magnesium finish. if i got the real rodders, i would go with the 15x5.5 fronts and the 15 trick 8 rear. can somebody please give a confused soul some guidance?? thanks, mike
have some fun with it for awhile and don't worry about what you are going to change, because that will also change
salt flat wheels with black sidewalls, ...or black rims, wide whites trim rings & caps... or grey-spoke Americans with blackwalls... or artillary's would look good too.......
thanks for the help guys.... i originally thought about a solid or gennie style steel rim with a trim ring and plain cap, like this one what color would you make the rim. originally i thought yellow like the car, but that is a lot of damn yellow...... and then are we thinking white wall or black wall tires. i love the wide whites but i can't picture them on my car. rusty 1, you are killing me. you can't add more choices to the mix......now i am even more mixed up....
I don't care what kind of car it is......I'd put Halibrands (or the Real Wheel equivalent) on just about anything! Ralph
