I am using GM 60's intermediate 10 bolt rear backing plates at all 4 corners of my 2850 lb rod. All 4 drums are 9.5 x2 and the wheel cylinders are 7/8. Will a proportioning valve be all that I will need or will I need larger front cylinders? Are there any cylinders with larger pistons that will bolt to these backing plates without modification? There will be no power assist.

  2. what are you building dude! why no front discs or power? google brake plumbing or master power. pick up a street rodder mag and check out the vendors index.
