What's the widest front axle?

I'm looking for a wiide front axle for my project Studebakester. The 53 Stude front fenders are being used on a fenderless roadster, hugging a 37 Terraplane grill, (see my avatar) so the front is a bit wider than your typical roadster. I need a wide axle to be able to turn the wheels without wiping out the fenders. I'm thinking I will probably have to go with a truck axle. Something like 60" or more hub to hub. Any ideas out there? The widest Ford axle is the 42-48, its 50" between the pearch bolts.

So i guess you have to look under some truck ;-)
