  1. Went to pick up a deuce grill shell today and saw this up in northern Mass on my way home. Looked like a Dodge or Plymouth. Never got close enough. IMG_1199.JPG

  2. Looks like a 1934 Dodge by that front bumper.

This '65 Nova stopped me in my tracks. I seldom take photos at car shows, hell, I seldom even
go to a car show anymore, but I get stoked when I see a kool car on the street.

Reo Club of America had their annual meet in Lewisburg. Who knew? I only found it by accident but there were some very cool cars and trucks and some very enthusiastic car folks,

  10. No pics but it did happen. Yesterday southbound 101 in Menlo Park CA about 2PM. Fairly heavy traffic moving at the limit. Couldn't safely get my phone out of my pocket. On a trailer behind a black pickup was a Model A tudor. Black, full fenders, no hood. Running a nailhead with either a blower or extremely high rise manifold and two 4s.
If the owner isn't a hamber he should be. Made my day.

Back in my home town over the weekend, and I saw this:

    20170603_085440.jpg

I know the owner, and last saw this car four years back, in pieces in his shop. It looked impressive, even in pieces!

Here's one of the pictures I took the day I saw it in pieces:

Bought some parts off craigslist last week and went back today to pick up and a family friend of the home owner said they also have a 64 t bird that might be for sale. I said not interested in a 64. But before I left I thought I better ask to look at it just in case it could be a convertible. Well I about fainted when I lifted the cover!

Then down the street a 1/4 mile was this Merc! Apologies for the crappy phone pic. JPEG_20170724_103842_-989805325.jpg JPEG_20170724_103842_-989805325.jpg

Wish my camera phone would work. I saw today, driving by my house no less, and I saw him earlier this summer. A white fenderless topless model a truck with red stripes and a flat head, a real h. a.m.b. worthy ride

Come to think of it, it might have been this one FB_IMG_1500945805732.jpg

It would be tough to ''top her''!
Eventually I did notice the RPU.

  19. Then, in the MAACO lot, another 'Vette, and a T bird to boot! The shop owner caters to old car guys. There must be good business in it, he has been doing it for years. IMO, smart, too. Any old car project is (weather permitting) in the lot front & center where passing traffic can see it. No one gives late models a second look. But they check out the old ones, for sure. He sponsors car shows, too. JPEG_20170724_110015_477922045.jpg

If the first thing you noticed was the truck I got bad news for you
(I found the pic online I believe it was built by a H.A.M.B.er)

I thought well, I'll look for him at Wal-Mart and low and behold he was pumping gas. Glass body, flathead, disc brakes in front,3sp top loader, and ran off of a lawnmower battery. Cool little ride. 80 yr old man living his dream!
