    Too Funny!

    :D

 Maybe I'm retarded, but it didn't seem like they were making fun of anyone. I guess I need to quit using the phrase, "I'm busier than a one legged man in a butt-kicking contest". :(

Beat me to it- sad thing is it's a historical fact in GM's case

  3. It's not really a big deal. I've done floors before so it's not virgin territory. It is a 50 year old car. I don't think anything could surprise me. The point I was trying to make was that GM was pretty dumb to put vinyl over the jute so that it would NEVER dry out. Todd

or better yet, try to find a bed for a 15-20 year old toyota truck. They've all gone to once where they came, rust to rust, ashes to ashes and so on an so forth and such and stuff.

  12. All I could think of was this :

oprah, can you belive what these GM folks did, they put rubber on the jute and now my floor pan is rusted. OH HOW GLIBB ! Now I have to put one new floor pan in a 51 year old car.I'M SO MAD ! ]

I wouldn't blame GM, I'd blame a water leak, and the original owner for cheapskating out and not getting the carpet package! But I wouldn't be surprised if the floors were rusted out on a 51 year old car with carpet instead of vinly mats.

Yeah, I've never seen a fifty year old Ford product with rotten floors.
