Hey gang I'll be in Syracuse for 45 days starting on monday the 6th. I 'll be on a temp work assignment making good money 12hrs a day 7 days a week. No drinking or acting stupid for me or its a long bus ride home with my tail betwen my legs. But what the hell maybe I can make enough money to save my house as the work scene here in Mi hasn't been great. I'm not sure if I'll have computer access or not so if anyone wants to swap some lies and bench race give me a shout. 734-678-6206 Later Joe
Syracuse or slightly north of there? Just curious. Lots to do in the 'Cuse. Start with a trip to Dinosaur BBQ on Franklin St. Check out the bike shop that's over the Dinosaur also. I think Sundays and Tuesdays used to be the days to go. Friday and Saturday are just too overwhelming. Farmers market near Carousel mall is a good time if you are into that. No drinking pretty much leaves out anything on the hill near SU. Lots of great venues if you can regulate yourself to sodas. The MOST...Museum of Science and Technology...too cool for words man. Armory Square in Downtown. If you do decide to go to a tavern, check out Quigly's...in the Quigly building. Ask for Sean, tell him Stevie G from Ruby Tuesdays said hey.(Long story) The State fair can be fun depending on who's at the Grandstands. Heck, there's lots more, I just can't think real clear right now.
I'm not exactly sure where. I have a plane ticket waiting at Detroit Metro Airport heading to Syracuse.
I grew up there. If you like to fish, there is Onedia Lake. Lots of good places to stream fish as wellI f you get the time you may wanna take a ride up to the 1000 Islands. There is also the Turning Stone Casino that is not too far out of town. Dinasour is cool as mentioned. It's not a bad little city. Little beat down from the long winters but other than that it's OK.
