I have an F1 frame that has cross steering. To my knowledge Ford didn't offer this on pickups.

Can you help me figure out what these are on the axle?

‘42-‘48 passenger car, someone set up the truck for cross steer instead of the side steer box it came with.

  5. Do the cars and pickup have different KPI?

I had a pair of spindles I thought were 42-48, but would not accept car hubs. The car bearings were smaller ID and would not fit on the stub shaft. King pins seemed the same as the car. Possibly 1 ton truck or Lincoln, Never did find out. Traded them off.

The prefix or suffix on the part number should tell you the original application.
