What mileage do you get in your rod?!?

    2-3 MPG.
    Big block & 538's.
     
  2. Mine gets about 4.5 gallons per 1/4 mile. That means 18 gallons to the mile.
     
  3. 1950 Ford business Coupe, stock flattie, 390 Holley, aluminum heads, Mallory drop in electronic dist., headers, Smithies, 3 spd. All around driving in LA - 17 mpg.
    1953 Studebaker Coupe, all stock with flathead six and auto - 25 mpg (All around)
    1949 Studebaker 15R Truck (4010 lbs) stock flathead six with low 4 spd and 5:13 rear- 17 mpg (last trip taken from Pasadena to San Clemente...ALL streets!)(wont go fast enough for the freeway)

    I get about 10 in my F-150. 351 Modified with rv cam and a 650 Edelbrock. The rearend tag says 3.50 but I'm thinking somewhere around 4.11 (70 mph is 4000 rpm!)
