bought these at a swap meet 20 years ago, forgot what brand the seller said. Thanks guys,
Man they look awesome..Not kingbees
When the headlight switch is turned on.. They light up, That kind of lights
The do fit the car nice tho !
Round.Kinda look Model A,truck maybe.
Guide 903 J or B-L-C equivalent … or Dietz ...
They look similar to Arrow 775,s.
Is anything stamped on the top and where do the headlight wires come out?
There were a lot of lights made by different manufacturers that are very similar. Big truck manufacturers generally outsourced parts like headlight assemblies rather than making their own, and they were sold through the aftermarket as a replacement for older vehicles with bulb and reflector lights and a single stud mount. Back in the day, you could buy a pair of lights like this as cheap as a sealed beam conversion kit and they looked better than the sealed beam conversion in the stock buckets.
Nope, no markings
I like the way they sit on a stock light bar, not too high
Couple of different views
They are not Arrows,More like guides or BLC
Cool lights and look like 903J or autolamp 450s a picture of each of them. The arrow had the screw in the trim ring and dont see that in the pictures. What’s cool about the auto lamp its a brass housing ..
With the extra pics they are guide 903
They aren't Arrows, they have two small holes for the wiring.
Thanks, that sounds about right. I couldn’t remember what the seller said. Thanks
I'm thinking BLC. HRP
They are just like the ones I stole off my Uncle's tractor, still have them 60 years later, just looked, no name on top..
I ask him if he did much plowin' at night? " He said , "Not since some dirty Bastard stole my headlights," I said: "Hey, I ain't dirty. " He said ' I figured as much when I saw those black headlights on yer '29 Tudor"
I really miss Uncle Bob,
He died young about 40 years ago. A Farmer, he always wore farmer bib overalls, rolled his own cigs, ( prince Albert tobackee ) and would fix ANY DARN THING.
( not exactly accurate, but I did get headlights that came on his tractor)
he was very generous to me.
By the way, thanks for going through the trouble of posting pics, I appreciate it
The bottom mounting bracket on the left is arrow and middle is autolamp and then guide 903 904 and a few other guide lights.
Your very welcome and glad we all could help, headlights are cool.......
My vote is Dietz or Panhead headlights . DuoGlide
You can see the grounding rivet next to the hole that the guide lights use on the 903J and 904A headlights along with the notch and looks like it was taken apart because it doesn’t have the original rivets, now lets see the rest of the 1932 ford
Here you go...
Awesome 5w ! Thanks for the pictures
Definitely BLC or Guide 903 (they’re the same) with the little tag missing. The trim ring style gives it away.
I’ve used them on two shitheaps I’ve had/have... not the same lights, just the same BLC 903.
I have a headlight fetish... I blame women....
I’ve waited two days...... I can’t stand it anymore.....those are ....headlights! Lol
