Projects what is your winter project?

Thanks. I have a hankerin' for coupes.

 

The prediction is that we're going to pay for the last couple of relatively mild winters. That being the case I suspect that most of my winter will consist of riding the snow blower. Any "Free" time will be spent in the shop finishing the Lincoln brake swap on the '38 and hopefully starting on the "mystery" drag project.

Got a 38 Ford coupe to get going. Needs to be finished by April 2012. Have guaranteed it done to the exchange student we had a couple years ago. Him and his brother will be here in May

 

I plan on starting my 57 F-100 project I've been putting off for too many years and a flathead FED to play with next summer. My boy picked up a nice 65 Falcon HT, we're doing an A/FX style race car out of it as well. We just finished my 40 and his 64 Ranchero so we gotta have something to do!

 

Slam it and install a nice little 302 AOD combo.

how many of you are planning to have your cars done for spring?

 

This winter...my coupe build. And next winter, and the next winter, and.. .

 

...my plan is just to get thru the Winter!
...actually I'd like to start on my 48 Ford p.u. or my 50 Plymouth,...or....

same as last years, and the year before that...get the willys on the road.

 

having a rolling chassis done for the 48 and having the modifications to the cab roughed in so that I can do the finish welding when the weather warms up.

I will be working on getting the Model A ready for next race season,higher comp pistons in the new motor,get the fuel injection system flowed ,make some hood sides,ad more ballast,fab up a spoiler

The 56 caddy needs its fresh motor putting back in the hole and the drivers side bodywork done.

The 59 apache needs the bodywork, bed wood sorting out and the exhaust finished.

Oh and continue working on my new 4000sf shop

I guess sleep is over rated

 

My 48 F-1 I have a goal to be done by April, after that its my 55 Olds.

 

first clean my garage from this conversion, and then start on my '33 willys rod.

 

Mine won't be done but I do hope to be able to drive it to the first cruise in April.

 

starting my 3w coupe...after finishing my 29 roadster

 

lose about 30 lbs from my bloated carcas to make getting on off the creeper easier!

 

Finish the body work on this,



and finish rebuilding the doors and bed on this.



Also have a Model A speedster body to build.

This.....just finished the chop..on to the rest of it now. I'd LOVE to have it out next summer but only time will tell.

Looking to cruise the 55 next summer. I've done a bit already but theres a lot more to do! That's what winter is for...

I'll have mine driveable every spring, but probably do more changes every winter.

 

Gathering more parts for a 27 T Coupe.

I hate winter.

 

Want to change the torque converter in my 34 Ford Coupe (avator). The cam is a bit much for the stock one, so have to pull the engine to get it done.
