So what’s the element(s) of your car that give it your personal touch? What is the one particular thing that catches the eye, that always gets the comment as unexpected or cool?

I know, (and knew) a Hemi in a '34, 3 window Ford chopped hi boy coupe had been done many times before, but not so often when running 60's E type Jag. chromed suspension, especially at all for corners. That wasn't my original plan, but when the 331 practically landed in my lap one afternoon, it became my plan pretty damned fast. I was headed for "traditional", (and IMHO, it is), but not in the belief of the HAMB and the followers of same and I respect that.

I guess my old ‘50 Coronet’s signature would be that it looks like you could just hop in it and just start bombing backroads like you were running moonshine Adjustments.JPG Adjustments.JPG IMG_5840.JPG

Interesting selection. And most importantly, what cool cars they have on them. A beautiful story on wheels. Probably wouldn't look like that on modern cars. Although I recently picked up a great 2005 Merced-BENZ SLK, if anyone is interested to see this platform you can . I think it can portray something original. You need to surf the web in search of original ideas. Or maybe you can come up with something yourself. There used to be fewer cars, and each could have its personality. Now, if everyone starts decorating their cars, it won't be very clear to the eye.

    To most that see my old hotrod,the fact that it's a 1928 "A" Roadster,but Bobtailed !!!
The free "A" body was crashed in the ass, that I got in 1958,so trunk n rear Qt. were very bad. I just cut off what I could not fix as a teen an built the rest in 1959,kind of "A-Bucket".

    I love this thread.
The way it showcases and focuses on one of the most important aspects of this hobby... the uniqueness of the personality of each car and the inventiveness and artistry of the builder.
    Wonderful. :)

  22. Real sitting out in the New Mexico field for 25 years patina. Unusual back here in Ohio where salt rust is way different.
