So I grabbed this a few years back, but can't remember what it is from exactly. Early 40's Ford? Anyway, I need a set of spindles and drums for it. What will work? Thanx again
The square-back '42-'48 spindles will obviously fit, but round-backed '37-'41 will also fit. Earlier spindles will fit too but you have to adapt the later brakes to them (assuming you want early Ford style hydraulic brakes). Supposedly, '49-'52 F1 spindles will also fit, and come with self-energising drums, but there usually seems to be some disagreement over the kingpin inclination angle matching or not.
