Since we're talking about sounding good, this is the shop foreman at the bike shop while my 2K Chief was on it's 97hp/98tq chassis dyno run in the next room- it's know locally as "that fukn loud Indian". Nobody rides on my right side for long :p
And that's the Dayton bead blaster that now resides in my shop

From what I remember reading, Henderson was sold off to Schwinn who then owned Excelsior. At one time, in our country's history, I think there was an excess of 400 motorcycle manufacturers in existance at one time.

Yep, the Henderson's kept working for the company, then Bill went on his own and formed Ace, so the Ace 4 is similar to but not the same as a Henderson 4- so the Indian 4 can trace it's lineage to "William" Henderson, but not the "Henderson 4" motorcycle

The Model K's were a heavier motorcycle than William wanted to design which led to the Ace marque.

You can't be a hot rodder and not like this- one reason the movie is so good is that they used real cars and real car sounds
    And yeah, that's Mr. Sulu

Idle @ 7,000 rpm, shift points are 19,500+rpm and max rpm is north of 22,000rpm. Engines are Less than 2 liter and make 800+hp.
    Damned impressive !
