I bought a straight axle 55 Chevy from one of the members over 10 years ago. They used to have a really cool website, but I searched for it and nothing came up. Does anyone know if Gassers inc. Is still a thing or if they're still building cars? I believe most of the members were in Minnesota.

Thanks for the response Chucky! Damn! That's too bad! You guys had a good run while it lasted. Lonnie loves that 409! He builds his cars around that engine! That's awesome! Hope you get around to that build some day soon!

I used to be a member, but whenever I looked in on the site it was stagnant with no new posts.

HI cisco thanks for asking, gassers inc is still alive and well, we just let the web site go. to spend more time playing with cars, like chuck said i am building another 55 chevy , Bob has a 34 ford coupe, blowen 392 hemi ! Jim has a big block 65 biscayne etc. Al has a 69 hemi roadrunner 4 speed 8 track car, not a clone! and Denny has numerous cars including a 1957 corvette gassers. Bens 40 willys truck, with race history.take care ,Lonnie

That's awesome! I gotta send a big thanks to the HAMB for connecting me with my friend Lonnie from Minnesota who built this bad ass 55 gasser! Long story short, I saw the car on ebay while I was at work, called Lonnie, and my wife and I were on a plane from San Francisco to Minnesota that evening. The minute his garage door opened, I knew I was buying it! Those guys build em right! 339953-1321079225-cbe8b88852f71f177053d77c4a790ad2001.jpg

I'm doin' a Ford... '54 Coupe. 406 FE, close ratio B.W. 9" butt. Wiggly '37 Plymouth front axle.
My son's doing a '56 Ford, similar stuff.
Could use a website like that, draws many folks w/trade items!
