What Ford Chassis was the Mercury Montclair built on?

Hey guys, I'm working on a Montclair. I need to find some parts for it such as a fuel sender and other stuff. I haven't had any luck finding reproduction parts, but knowing Ford this thing is probably built on the same chassis as a LTD or Galaxy. Anyone know which one? Or where to get parts?

pretty sure its a galaxie chassis

 

no ltd until '65, and it was just a galaxie trimline anyhow in the mid sixties. montclair's no doubt on the galaxie platform.

 

they have sending units for it at mac's antique auto parts for 70 bucks.
