upload_2025-5-3_21-40-46.jpeg I just bought these wheels from this picture. I can’t figure out what they are from. I don’t have the diameter yet. Appears to be six lug, bent-spoke, but doesn’t look like a 26-7 T. Anyone know? I’ll post more info when I get them delivered.

    Fords had 5 lugs...not six.

Chevy had 6 lugs, but they went from wood to disc to wires, the wires had the lug holes inside the hub, not outside.

Sorry, no help, but at least you can eliminate the common stuff.

  3. Essex, Peerless amd Hupmobile had 6 lug spokes

    should be marking on it

Looks like @Johnny Gee won this one! There were a lot of smaller makes back then, but his pic sure looks right.

Found it using Google. Typed in Antique 6 Lug Wire Wheels.

They look to have the hollow, tubular rim where the bead sits, like 27-28-29 fords, but chevy never did that. They always had a formed rim. The center hub does not look chevy either, and I've had lots and lots of chevy wheels in my day. I say brand x

You are correct. The one in the pic may have been on a Chevy, but I don’t think they ever actually came on them. I’d guess it’s another make, just not sure which one.
