what did these come off of

    i was wanting to go to the hunnert car pile up and looking at there rules they say my wheels have to be 1960 or earlier. So i need to no are these aftermarket wheels or what are they off somthing. They are 14's all the way around

    i have seen those wheels before can't place em but thinking they came out in the 70's and are definitely aftermarket ! i wouldn't wory about it so much if your car does'nt fit the criteria . park in the spectator lot go in and have a good time

    Look like a more busy version of my favorite late model wheels, the chrome-plated Mustang GT/Torino wheels of the mid-60s. Nothing to be ashamed of there, enjoy them.

    Those are made by Appliance Wheel and they are called the "Striker" my best guess on the year would be 1978 ish
     
  6. I remember them coming out in the mid 70's, we sold them at the tire store i worked at.

    nice to see a set out there other than mine. mine are 15's though. mid-late 70's is when they came out

    Get a set of wheelcovers to keep the purity patrol's noses out of your wheels...you can probably walk in, buy a set, then drive it in...but explain why a '63 car can go in there but even its original wheels could not??

    So lemme get this straight, it's probably a '64 cutoff on model year, and you have to run pre60 wheels?

    Anyway i aint diggin them myself.....
