Technical What did I buy?

Got this off Craig's list $25 the guy said it was a t cowl. Is it and any idea of a year?
Numbers on inside 3573188 if that helps or not. Hope the picture turns up too first time for that

 

Model T ford. Looks like a later one I think. Gas filler was under the vent

 

Looks like a '26/'27 Coupe, sedan, or '26-'29 TT / 'A' truck cowl. Super usable if you're willing to trim, reshape top dash rail and fit or roll some sides. I've started good, sound projects with less. Great buy!
The vent cover sells for more than that...

 

It is Model T but a lot earlier than the 26 27 models. It is pre 1923 would be my guess.

 

You bought something without knowing what it is? Must have been love at first sight.

No I bought it to buy it good cowls are hard to get in my area and 25 bucks couldn't have gone wrong. I also got a set of head lights ans a windshield I'll post later. I might go back to the guys house he had a boxed t chassis t axels galore bunch of cool parts radiator shells

It is Model T, and before 1926. It is closed car like a coupe or sedan. Hopefully someone can nail down the year a bit more for you.

 

Without a measurement from the floor to the middle of the cowl, it's hard to pinpoint the year. I can tell you categorically that it is "T" coupe and sedan, and with the height of the firewall cutout I'll guess it's '23-'25. If it's not tall enough for that, it's '17-'22 for the same.

Yes, these guys are right. It's a '23-'25 Model T closed car (Coupe or Sedan) cowl. Earlier ones didn't have the vent.

 

I'll get measurements of it and let you guys know. I would like to bring it back to life.but need to get the other truck I'm building done or close to done first.

Ok I got the measurements over all 45x26.5. Firewall 23tallx28outside to outside21.5x24.75hight and width. About 11 inches deep. If they help nailing the years 100% then awesome.
