What car did you have when you joined the HAMB?

I just noticed my HAMB join date was April, 2003...7 1/2 years! I was thinking about all the cars I've had or built since then(and all the knowledge I've gotten from everyone on here), and which one I owned when I joined the HAMB. I think it was my old '53 Chevy pickup...shaved, lowered, scalloped, stock running gear(or it may have been my ex-sport coupe roadster). Here she is, I'd be interested to see some of yours':

I had my (truly) rat 57 caddy 2drht. I loved that thing, and still do. Flat black, original white paint on the roof, slammed stock suspension, 67 eldorado black leather seats, handmande leopard print panels everywhere else. Medium ww's on red steelies, and the farmer who owned it before me threw some non-desrcipt sbc./t350 in it. It wasn't pretty under the hood, but it ran real good. I loved that thing to death, and had slowly started to fix up the crappier pieces as I drove it. After I got married my loser landlord decided to revoke my parking space, and I let it sit for a while in my parents back yard, but I couldn't bear to see it like that anymore. I sold to a dude who has continuied it along, bought a harley I never put together, and am now trying to get rid of it and buy another project. Long story long.

I had this '48 Chevy p/u that I built. Sold it a couple years later. I regret selling it to this day! My Essex is cool, but that '48 was the first and only ground-up build I've ever done, and it was a fantastic long distance cruiser. :(

  29. This 1953 Oldsmobile 2dr post. My first car. Was my Grandpa and I's project..Never got alot done. Sold it to a young guy that works at a resto shop. No front suspension, seats, engine, etc. We replaced rusty floorboards, and filled some trim holes. and sanded it.
