First you go buy some crome molly tubing ,Than you call some of your buddys and sell them
on how much fun it would be to build a race car ,than you look at your stack of parts and there stack of parts and take one night a week and call it race car night. Theres a reason why you see old race cars with more than one name on painted on the side of them, because with out all them names most people can't afford to build a race car and don't have all the talant it takes to build one, but if you can pull your buddys together and come up with a plan its a hell of alot of fun.
We are about half way done with are car and hope to have it done soon.
If it wasn't for the help of Mike,Josh,Josh,Dave,Pat,Steve and Howard ,this would still be $800 worth of tubing setting on the floor.

  10. Nice work Marshall (and friends). I'm looking forward to following this thread.

By the way, I got the Topolino delivered last week. Thanks for being so patient while I arranged transport. Got my mind working overtime on how to build it. Sounds like all I need is some friends with money, parts and time (any volunteers?)

I've got some questions for you about the Topolino. I will call you one of these days when I have some time. I've been bustin' ass on my '54 ford trying to get it on the road for billetproof next weekend. I might make it yet.

Nice work and that thing looks like it will be a bunch of fun when it's done. I agree with running the nine inch though. Lots easier to find budget minded gears and pieces for it than a Pontiac or Olds.

Remember. "It's not the first time you break it, that pinches the budget, it's the fifth or sixth time.":D Looks like a blast! Must have details on 12 port build plans.

  29. The level of talent on this board, never ceases to amaze me. Like the use of a solid platform to build a chassis. Are these old ones from bodies shops of yore or did you build/fab it? 12 port, flow through, head looks very zoomy. Nice use of resources.
Is this chassis design from a blue-print of your idea? Is the engine position low enough? Thanks for sharing.
