July 15-17

 

I believe Christmas 2016 is also moved to that date.

After working nights for 4 months straight,and spending every free second working on the car,I am now doing damage control with Mama,and getting a nursery built for "The New Guy".
He should be here right around the first week of October

I think I'm gonna take my sweet time now,and just have this thing ready for springtime.

Better make sure all your parts are in because you wont be getting parts boxes anymore you be getting things that come in bails and bottles now.

 

Looks like I have some work to do by next July. Finish up my Cameo and go through the drivetrain of my 55.

Want to apologize for registering last minute, being a pain in the ass, and then not making it. The dog got sick right before we set out to leave and we ended up having to have him put down, took it out of us for that weekend. However, the 57 is ready to go for next year, and the 54 is going down the road for a 56 to build for next year.

 

Thank You every one who helped put on this event. (Had a great time) meeting hambers.

Had the most fun Friday night (sharing Wisconsin Cheese) and drinking wine.
Set a new record that night (two big bottles of Wine + some clear stuff + beers ) with no hangover and didnt pee
untill next day. (it was Hot and I had a powerfull thirst).

The car and I did not run well in the heat but that did not matter. still had a blast.

Cant wait for next year

Seriously though,sorry you couldn't track down the gremlins in time to make pass at 100%,but I was just glad you made it out at all.
It was great to see you again,and hopefully next year we BOTH have all the bugs worked out of our cars and can have a blast out there!

On a serious note Salty, it was great to meet you and see that 409 car run. You made some nice improvements over the weekend and put on a great run on Sunday.

I am going to try and get the Okie put back together here shortly and get at least one more run out of her before the season ends and I start the winter projects on her.
