Technical What 56 265. motor ?

I’ve searched every posed I could find on here I’m sure an “”F “” needs to be on the end for the vett , but could not figure out /find what the H stands for
Can someone tell me what I have ?

The F before the 56 is Flint engine plant

 

So they put truck engines in Corvettes? Since the SBC was introduced everyone has a Vette engine if you believe what they say Had a few myself
