Was looking at the wescott frame plans and just thought I would ask if anyone has used them and how accurate they are.

The model A plans dont have outside of frame dimentions.

Is there another place where i could get some better plans for the model A frame???

When i built my frame i used wescotts and one from one of the model a restoration sites (marc or mafca )between the two they had all of the measurements. The wescott print was not very accurate .

The measurements for their 36-40 frame isn't very accurate, so I would have my doubts about any of the others.
  6. just new to wescott plans so far seems ok except on a 33 ford plan it used a measurement of 3/7th... doug

When I built my 33-4 frame jig, I took measurements from a straight original frame, a professionally boxed frame, and Wescott's drawing. There was often variation between the 3. If there was more than 1/8" difference, I discarded Wescott's numbers and went with the original frames.
  8. This might help.
