Hot Rods Week hood springs fat fender

I have replaced the hood springs with Vintque,Mac's, and Carpenter, after 6 months they will not keep hood up like originals did. So,with a toyota slave rod and clevis and a 5/16" pin I fixed my problem. Lift hood up slip pin in and no more hood problems and no more spending on springs and rods. and no more teeth gritting streching of springs.Works for me
