Wayne Smith R I P

Long time hot rodder from Maine, Wayne Smith passed away last week. I attended a memorial service for the family today, lots of hot rodders there>
Smitty had an old school type web site with over a thousand photos of early hot rods/drag race'n in New England

This one touched home. I've been in contact with Smitty a couple of times over the years talking about his coupe and stuff!
He was a nice guy.

I'm bummed now...
R.I.P. Smitty.

Ya.. he waz a hell of a guy all right! He waz old school from the "Sam" days of old..
His last few years were not very good from what I've heard. Hate to see that happen to anyone
