One of my favourite places in CA. Stayed there many times with friend Jeff(RIP) and I always walked down to Moonlight Bay. 101 Diner a must do for breakfast. These pictures don't show it very busy with cars? Maybe this was early.

We went to Wavecrest in 2010 and it was the best car show I have ever attended. Restored cars, Street Rods, Restomods, Homebuilts and everyone had a great time. To top it off we won the Longest Distance Award, a beautiful freehand wood trophy by Ron Heiden. It's on my list to go back!

  21. I went there a few years ago. I really preferred Doheny Wood....until they moved it, now I'm going to take the trip down there next year.

    Thanks for the pics.

It turned out to be a beautiful day down here, once that cloudiness burned off. Wavecrest is the largest annual gathering of woodies (and kooks) anywhere in the world. Nice shots ... thank you sir. ;)

I have been following Wavecrest for years...here on the HAMB and other outlets as well. It has always been one of the best showings of woodies of all sorts anywhere.

Figured I’d address this last sentence. And add some pix.
    The placement of the stage and band made its way into the lot and vendor area expanded into the lot as well. That said, lots of very nice “Wood @ Wavecrest” In 2019. I’ve been attending this show as long as I can attend when it doesn’t coincide with our Outriders Picnic. 84D25D81-629B-4FEB-A5AA-0214AF264373.jpeg EB8D801E-391B-4F32-8533-AE4341853D74.jpeg ED1FC686-7B7E-4B35-BF8E-4315AD4424DF.jpeg 28C24351-9FA2-484D-B048-7FA55177B1A0.jpeg 93D232DC-3144-4DA2-BD18-1F58026AC734.jpeg BFA1B7A3-35F6-4AE6-80A6-D5690C29FE5E.jpeg 5B54578A-71EA-45AA-8B0B-F58465405686.jpeg 894EE02E-91E8-4CBE-B96B-70FFE275E3D0.jpeg 98A52078-07D4-4A54-8BB1-3F410CA1B734.jpeg 4404D784-9B9F-4ED6-955F-5EDB55777F42.jpeg 074FA6D8-AC54-47E2-AD9C-6784CAEBE0A5.jpeg 43B041C7-0A59-4114-8DAA-8C28AF106A27.jpeg 43B041C7-0A59-4114-8DAA-8C28AF106A27.jpeg 1CFB8D6A-1782-4EC1-AB8A-9B682B60D650.jpeg FF2C553E-237D-4D93-BE13-136C51E55D33.jpeg FA65EEB3-FE2B-44B9-B69C-48106123F4E2.jpeg EE953EDA-EA55-489E-9CE5-098587010C27.jpeg 405850CC-3555-4C15-8A87-04FC8FA54556.jpeg 752F014C-91A6-432C-BC45-C9E38137A85D.jpeg 11C49016-D703-4935-A119-AB94564C961A.jpeg B7D7CFC0-8192-40D7-9545-79F6AC42943F.jpeg AE8AD816-0BF0-45C8-9CE0-BF42EA6BC57F.jpeg 43B3BE0E-BF54-47E2-9B0C-98D72DB9D025.jpeg 707C1527-AEE4-428B-A798-EA5F9F43E0EE.jpeg E35417A7-E163-4918-A43F-E3E5A8E035E3.jpeg A1101CC0-145D-403F-AC24-A469D8879A2D.jpeg 707C1527-AEE4-428B-A798-EA5F9F43E0EE.jpeg E35417A7-E163-4918-A43F-E3E5A8E035E3.jpeg A1101CC0-145D-403F-AC24-A469D8879A2D.jpeg 1A97369E-FBCD-4B2D-94EB-6D579B0D9BE0.jpeg 0C0C589E-5102-4908-A929-6812D821CF84.jpeg 90E95F37-C1F9-4B13-B351-3755789CD75C.jpeg

Would that black 37 be Rocky Brown's ? One of 2 he has. I looked for a picture in my library from when we were over there a couple of years ago but no luck.
