Got the shock mounts finished yesterday and grabbed 5 buddies to lift the body from my garage into a pickup and over to Roger's shop where we stuck it back on the frame. That'll teach them to come over to check progress... Whacked out a chunk of firewall for now to clear the engine so we can move the body back and forth working on stuff. Body mount holes lined up perfect right off. Bad news is the Mustang steering isn't going to work with the split radius rods. Would have worked fine with hairpins. Couldn't resist sitting in it to see how much we can chop & drop. It'll be back in my cold assed garage soon with all the heavy chassis welding done. So, how'd your weekend go? It always starts to feel really good at this point...cuz you can start to see the end result...Congats! Looks sweet!
