Some of you may know what these are, they're the model that looks like a baby 47 Ford. Any pics of some kool ones? There may be a project available soon.

I saw one with a Toyota 20R engine and 5 speed transmission installed in it. It made a very reliable everyday driver and ran better than the stock Volvo push rod engine. The off road mags have ads for all kinds of aftermarket equipment for the 20R engines which are used in most Toyota offroad pick ups.

I think you mean 444 and 544, bet there are a ton of customized ones in Sweden.

More commonly called the PV444 (earlier, split windshield) and PV544. My wife really wants one of those cars. I've heard of b20 swaps... how hard is the 20r swap? Sounds cool.

But back to your question... if you do a search on the HAMB for Euro rods/customs or Swedish rods, a few have shown up, but most of them were 122s

I really like that first one. The full fadeaway fenders are classy.

My old daily driver... not so much of a kustom, but I scalloped it at least :)

    Wow!
    That black one looks great!

I did some Volvo Renderings some time ago. Four of them can be seen in newest Rodders Journal (number 45).

One of these things just screams for full fadaways, nosed and decked with the hood pie cut, tunneled and frenched front and rear lights and grille, all the seams filled, and if you were really adventurous, extend the hood and round the front fenders like 39-40 Mercury or Continental with 39 Lincoln headlights.
