here's a quickie from me this morning. i'm working on making short videos for my students, as they are flung to the four corners of the world right now, and not in the classroom. i teach visual art at an international boarding school a little outside boston. we have students from all over the world including europe, asia, and south america. things with covid-19 got really serious while we were on our 3 week spring break, and our 500 students were at home. so, we need to teach them somehow so that they can get credit for the school year, and so seniors can graduate, etc. there are a lot of tools for teaching online. but none of them are particularly good for teaching visual art that way. so, i've been working on some ideas. anyway, i figured while the camera was out, i'd take you for a walk around my shop:

My "shop" is my 3-cars-jammed-into-an-attached-garage-built-for-only-2. A video would last about 5-10 seconds. Two snapshots would be adequate...and embarrassing.
That said, I am envious of those who have actual shops with lots of room and tools to work with. I'll be watching this thread.

    Loving the videos.

also love that in an era of texting and passive observing that people are calling, face timing and purposely doing video. Making as much connection as you can with out being face to face. Something that a lot of people took for granted

sounds like a good idea, my garage/shop is a neglected mess right now
but might just have to do a walk around as it is, why put on airs, eh?

@Tim , Love the videos but I wouldn't know where to start on the technology to take, let alone post a video... I'm an 80 year old trapped in a 38 year old body
