    This one is kinda special. This is actually the lumber company my grandfather worked for and retired from. He went to work for them after WWII, and eventually became a lumber grader by the time he retired. I'm sure he saw plenty of these old chain drives putting around. I had no idea this would be at the show, so it was a nice surprise.

    Love the chain oiler on the Hines truck.

    I've wondered how they handled that. EPA and such would have fits now-a-days.

  6. Hey, any oil that missed the chain, or dripped off, just help to hold the dust down on the road.

    These days it is called a "total loss" oil system.

    What on earth am I looking at here? An early paint striper, or top fuel dragster? Or both? :D I guess a long wheelbase ought to lend itself to straighter lines. I'm not sure why they needed two front clips though.
