Good looking car, Ron. Surely, you have a steering wheel laying around somewhere? Here's a Reuhl I'm working on. The first(?) fiberglass bodied tether car. This one looked pretty rough when I got it with a bad paint job directly over the bare fiberglass. The body top didn't fit well, as it was contacting the glow plug, so I drilled a hole and fabricated a scoop to cover it. Several rounds of primer, body filler, and sanding got it pretty smooth. I'm about halfway finished with the new paint job so I'll post pics of the finished product. Rick
+Rick good too have a project here's a picture of a Reuhl I no longer have. You probably know the first Reuhl's were made of Bakelite and Reuhl made a few accessories seat, pipe, side rails and nerf bars.
So I am stuck in the house for the next few week's recovering from a knee replacement. I thought I would post a few pictures of car's I no longer own and few belonging to other collector's. Ron Dooling rear drive and Thimble Drome
Hey Ron. I was aware of them starting out with Bakelite bodies, but I've not seen one....or maybe I have but didn't know because it was painted. I've been told that the fiberglass bodies came in three colors; red, yellow, and blue. My car has the seat, and I've seen examples of the side pipe and front nerf bar, but never seen the side rails.
Found under a house. I got it back together with a little help from my friends Dooling first series I will post updated pictures.

As a matter of fact... It had an old repair to the frame, which I've left alone. I didn't bother doing much with the insides, as it's a pain to take the top off anyway. I love the fuel tank...made out of some kind of old metal can. Rick
WOW very cool! and { Thanks for sharing } Here's a few photos that I took at the Eastern museum of motor racing.
