HOT DAMN!! I finally got my computer back! I have that feeling you have when your coming outta the pits after fixing a flat.. You know your WAY behind and you start getting your head right to "BE ON A MISSION"

...check score board... 12 laps to go...

....count cars in front of you... 15...

....plan how to pass three of them on the start and comence to pass one a lap after that...

...sure it will work... ....one to go...

...yellow lights are out... Watch for a brake check...

    AND GAS IT.

    :D

Hello All, I hope this works out. Here are a few pics of the chassis. It may be hard to see but the torsions tubes for the parallel bars runs through the lower frame rail just under the front cross member the spring perch bolts to. Some where in its history wing mounts were added. Again its a 1968 Edmunds originally sold to William Tarr. According to Don he bought 2 cars that year proir to October. Don said his early records are not as detailed as later records. In his words "Back then we had no idea that almost 40 years later anyone would care." Any info on the car would be greatly appericated.

    Thanks, Sprintcar10

Seeing that pic of Blaney and the Alfater made me wonder about Del Schmidland. Anybody know?

Looks to be in pretty good shape for 40 yrs. old. There's a lotta Ohio area guys on here, so maybe somebody will recognize the name or the car.

I asked all of you guys in Indy about a frame I was trying to track down about three of four months ago.. well, I found it. It's on E-bay.

Looks like that car was stretched into one of those Oklahoma 100 inch cars to me.

Local guys here in Cincinnati bought a Complete sprint car, maroon #16 with a Chev and an automatic. They were wanting to go B-Ville racing with it. The Chassis on Ebay came with it. When they got the Complete car, they realized it was too heavy and decided to sell the whole lot. I found about it to late, and was not able to buy the Bare frame out of the deal. It sold on Ebay to Buzz Hann. I tried to buy it off Buzz and even offered to haul the complete car to him IN FLORIDA for the Frame.. but he said a buddy of his wanted it. A month later another buddy of Buzz's came from Indy and picked it all up. And now the frame is on Ebay.

Is this frame the Randy Mausteller car, or is the complete sprinter with the automatic that was made street leagal the one?

    Thanks.

I posted this WAY back in Sept... If any of you remember it. The frame one Ebay listed above is the one I was looking at. It looked long then too!

    Ain't nothing a sawsall and welder can't cure. :)

  18. Looks like it has already sold. Auction ended early. There is no way anybody down here would have stretched that car to 106" to race as a super. If they did, they didn't stick around long.
