When I was 16, in '72, I'd already saved up and bought a '56 Ford BBW pick up like my dad's but we had a neighbor that was moving up to Mammoth Ca and he was selling his split window vette not wanting to take it to snow country. I begged my folks to loan me the $1500 to buy it but my mom was dead set against me having that car.
