Man does this take me back! This could be me and my pals. Couldn't afford uniforms, so we had Lisac's Market t shirts printed up. Wore red caps and red socks, we called ourselves the "Ardenwald Redlegs". Ardenwald was our neighborhood in Milwaukie Oregon.
My Dad and some other guys whipped up a pro type backstop using their WW2 skills, at Ardenwald Grade School, made the diamond too! We practiced our asses off, our best finish was second to last in the League! I was a hotshot pitcher!
After my Dad died in 08 I returned to Milwaukie for the funeral and to help my Mother. I went to visit the old school and found the backstop bulldozed in a heap. the school has since been torn down. When I thought of all those Dads building it, it broke my heart to see it destroyed. Those were wonderful days, a very different world.

Guys, I have never met the 50's or 60's car that would be damaged from sitting on it!

Modified Sport Production was a very cool 60's class that you just couldn't do today.
Production "sports cars", and there were a zillion of 'em, the AA/MSP class was virtually unlimted in motor, chassis etc. Not a whole lot running, but they were fast and COOL!

As big as I can make it. :) It must have something to do with Hurst considering all the cars in the shot.

Hey, who is that guy in Norm's car? Most people thought Kookie was Kool. When 77 Sunset Strip was on when I was a kid my Dad always said he was a wise ass!:D
