    Hello,
Sorry, that you are having problems. I tried to upload a photo on a tablet a couple of times and failed miserably. (the top quality phone, no way... same results) The tablet gives a good view of the HAMB threads, but adding or even posting things is not fun or does it work well. All of my postings, photos, movies and writings, come from a laptop and home computer. That never fails to post, resize a photo or delete writings when a mistake has been made.

For all of those still getting red x postings, that still has something to do with links to companies like Photobucket or others like that company. It is safer to have all of your photos on an external hard drive to link to your laptop or home computer. Then you know where those photos are at all times, won't get stung with holding your photos hostage for higher monthly costs, and you have access/safety for a "go bag" in case of fires or emergencies evacuations.

There is no comparison to photos taken by a digital camera vs a phone. The same holds true about a phone vs a laptop or home computer. There is definitely, no comparison for access, ease of writing, posting photos, movies or what ever you find. Plus the screen is 4 inches vs 13-15-17" or 30+ inches on some home computers. (despite those naysayers expounding about the quality of the modern phone images.)

They are good, sometimes excellent, but do not compare to real digital cameras. Phones are good, are handy since they happen to be with you most of the time and do take good photos/movies. But, there are limitations to even the best on the market VS. a great laptop/home computer.

Also, save all photos as jpegs. Make sure that the size posted does not exceed the page restrictions. Too large, a warning pops up...resize it to a smaller version. Remember, the larger the photo, the greater the image will be altered or fuzzy. Most old photos were taken with very small cameras or very old large news cameras with old technology.

If people had the old, original large negatives, then there is no question that the photos will be very clear and crispy. But, copied internet photos always have some fuzziness to them just because they have been posted over and over. The original photo, digital or negative always gives better results, saved as jpegs.

I'm guessing you meant to say the Addams Family.
    Actor was John Astin.

Any information on the #0 sprinter? I'm not recognizing the car but could the track be El Centro?

Again, on the second photo I'm not sure of the track but Vukovich is subbing for an injured Troy Ruttman in 1952.

And what's the background on the last attached photo?

Thanks for posting the great photos, Rootie!!!

Yes, that is El Centro circa 1962. The driver is Mike Schmader and I believe it is probably GMC powered with the stock cyl. head. I don't know, for sure, where the other tracks are.
