  1. LaCrosse, Kansas, the barbed wire capital of the world and home of the Kansas Barbed Wire Museum. For you folks that grew up on asphalt, there are hundreds of different types of barbed wire.

    You can file that in the "who gives a rat's ass" department.

    I was there this summer to get off the highway. Pretty impressive for just barb wire.
